The typical alleys of Genova are narrow. Walking around gives you the opportunity to look around and enjoy the historical structures, entertainers, locals and tourists roaming around.

Hop on Hop off bus

During our visit, there were 2 bus tour operators available. One was Genoa City Tour which costs 10 Euro and has 9 stops but you can only hop off at Piazza De Ferrari. We took the other bus, Citysightseeing Genova. The ticket costs 15 Euro and valid for 2 days. We paid additional 2 Euros each for the package that includes a ticket valid for all local transport in Genova (bus, trains, elevators, funiculars) which originally cost 4.50 Euro.

There is also a package available that includes the bus tour tickets and entrance to Acquario de Genova.
