Uffizi Gallery, Florence, Italy

The Uffizi Gallery in Florence is one of the oldest and most famous art museums of the Western World. We visited the Museum last 2007. Unfortunately, we had to wait for almost a kilometer long queue to get in the museum because we weren't able to purchase our tickets ahead of our visit. It was a long wait but it was worth it.

I was able to see the works of the painters like da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Raphael and a lot more. Taking pictures inside the Museum was prohibited (to preserve the paintings).

Here is only a small selection from the world-class collection of paintings:
The collection also contains some ancient sculptures, such as the Arrotino and the Two Wrestlers.
