Le Soliel de Boracay, Philippines

Upon arrival at the Kalibo Airport via Philippine Airlines, the hotel staff were there to guide us. I recognized them since they were holding a piece of paper with our names and they are in Le Soliel uniform. The package I paid was inclusive of our hotel, daily breakfast and transportation to and from the airport.

My blog post on Boracay:

At the Caticlan port, the Le Soliel staff provided us with the tickets for the boat ride to Boracay. It is a must to wear the life vest before the boat will depart. They said that the coast guards will not allow the boat to leave unless safety is ensured.

The check in at Le Soleil de Boracay went smoothly. I booked our hotel via their website. We stayed there for 5 days in a Premier Suite. The room was suited for family. There were two rooms. It was a loft style.

The breakfast was great. There were a variety of food to choose from. The pool was also nice and lifeguards were in the area. The staffs were courteous and very accommodating.

In front of the hotel, there were beach chairs provided for the guests.

The area of the hotel was beachfront and near souvenir shops.

    1. Hi Nik. According to the DHA Eligibility Criteria: RNs are eligible if there is no interruption in nursing practice for more than two years. Goodluck to your wife :)

You can visit this link from DHA website for more info:

    1. It is 2 years experience but there could be an additional payment for PSV because they need to verify 2 work certificates. To verify, you can call DHA call centre. Goodluck.

  12. Hi Ms. Caleen, i used to open this blog when i was in the Philippines for me to get some ideas regarding dha exams an it helps me a lot, i am currently residing in dubai for 6 mos under employment visa unfortunately hindi nurse,, but still am planning to get dha exam kaso po ang prob is 1 yr and 9 mos lng experience ko as a staff nurse way back in the phils, i tried to call dha hotline and advise that i can still submit my reqts pero there is no assurance n iaassess nla reqts ko kasi nga po kulang sa experience ang required dw po is minimum of 2 yrs. pero gusto ko po mg take ng risk bakasakali makapasa same like ng mga taong ngcocomment dito and share their stories kaso iniisip ko po un bayad dhl bka pg nsayang gudbye AED 210.00, un pinsan ko sni sken hindi p dw ganun kahigpit sa reqts mga late 2012 kaso ngayon mhgipit n dw po. what do you think madam? should i pursue my dreams to be a nurse here in dubai or should i leave it na ??? piece of advise naman madam. so confused lang talga po.

  17. Hi ms.Caleen.

I concern regarding my DHA application.. i had already my schedule for my DHA exam..data flow emailed me to provide recent copy of my COE pertaining to my previous employer in the phil. I am currently working here at KSA for almost 2years..regarding my previous employer in the phil, our chief nurse before resigned already, and the current chief nurse wont issue a new COE.. what will gonna happen to my application? Do you think my PSV will mark as negative if i cant provide the COE from previous employer? I had already my 2years COE here in KSA? Is my current COE wont suffice the requirements?

    Please reply. Thank you
